- Meredith vs. Johnson
- Bryce Meredith | Decision
- 2024 | PFL 1
-
Thought Meredith had more power than I thought he had early on, got a drop and hurt Ty with some ground and pound too, didn't seem to carry it late into the fight as was cracking hittable guy clean but didn't really seem to hurt him again. Adapted pretty well to tricky bottom grappler, figured out his leglocks and sub spam from guard to stay safe.
Johnson is okay, pretty aggressive, nice and active off his back, went to the well a bit too much with the leglock entries. Throws triangle entries up pretty quickly. Really hittable on the feet, got cracked several times backing out with his hands down.

- Brennan vs. Ivy
- Dimitre Ivy | Decision
- 2024 | PFL 1
-
Ivy one of those technically solid journeymen who's hard to hit clean and hard to submit, experienced, but without a massive amount of miles on him. Made a couple of stupid mistakes, getting him in trouble with Lucas on his back.
Brennan has terrible striking, slow, awful kicks, moves head slowly and deliberately. Turns his back a lot for some reason. Wrestling pretty poor as well. BJJ obviously very good but only takedown seems to be to get to the back and feed the leg through both legs and try and trip.
10-9 Ivy close
10-9 Brennan clear
No idea
29-28 to someone.

- Hackett vs. Bishop
- Jena Bishop | Submission | Round 1
- 2024 | PFL 1
-
Bishop BJJ just too good, just has to pressure forward until she can get hold of people, nice use of back take to drag down. Controlled back fine, ended up on bottom off one second over confidence but immediately threw up fight winnign armbar.
Hackett didn't engage enough on the feet, mainly running. Did stay calm on the ground and defended back well but didn't react quickly enough to threat when in guard.

- Watanabe vs. Young
- Kana Watanabe | Decision
- 2024 | PFL 1
-
Kana is a problem if she can get hold of you, Young unable to do much in the striking and keep her off her hips. Kana reversed once or twice but generally riding the back most of the time. Shanna is tough and will keep trying to the end but TDD just not good enough to deal with Watanabe and footwork not good enough to maintain space.
Kana 10-9 very clear

- Mowry vs. Popov
- Oleg Popov | KO/TKO | Round 2
- 2024 | PFL 1
-
Still not sure Popov is that good, dude is determined though, keeps at his takedowns. Seems someone with a solid sprawl would be able to get hips down on him though. GNP is pretty slow paced, solid crucifix, Mowry not really trying too hard to get out though.
Mowry good back take in the first, TDD sucks, striking defence sucks. Seemed to blow his gas out trying to finish Popov in the first and then didn't fight crucifix nearly as much as I'd like getting eventually taken out by kind of weak GNP.
10-9 Mowry clear
R2 KO Popov

- Santos vs. Joanne
- Taila Santos | Submission | Round 1
- 2024 | PFL 1
-
Taila way too physical, top control way too good, uses ground and pound to set up chokes and didn't look for a second like she'd lose position. Did look slightly uncomfortable when rushed on the feet though.
Joanne is game but couldn't deal with the physicality of Taila once she got taken down, bit of a mismatch on the floor.

- Ivanov vs. Bilostenniy
- Sergey Bilostenniy | Decision
- 2024 | PFL 1
-
Bilostenniy's gas tank still terrible, lucky Blagoy couldn't really manage to push much of a pace or much of a takedown or clinch game. Hands sharp early, did hold them together better than Blagoy in the later rounds, probably would have hurt a lot of fighters but obviously not Blagoy, body shots and jab pretty good. Is pretty hittable himself though.
Blagoy did okay, relatively short notice so maybe couldn't push quite as much of a pace as would have helped. Obviously can eat everything. Was landing some of his own stuff but just has no power and throws arm shots at times which makes that even worse.
10-9 Blagoy very close
10-9 Sergey very close
19-9 Sergey fairly clear

- Golm vs. James II
- Daniel James | KO/TKO | Round 1
- 2024 | PFL 1
-
James taken down again early, managed to Derrick Lewis his way out of it eventually after being stuck for a while. Good ground and pound once got to top, made Golm quit with his power. Can't really have him on top of you.
Good trip from Golm early and good work on top, but didn't want to be there when it got tough.

9
- Ditcheva vs. Mauldin
- Dakota Ditcheva | KO/TKO | Round 1
- 2024 | PFL 1
-
Massive gap in class on the feet, too fast, too varied. Tested a little more in the grappling and almost gave back in scramble but no issue really
Mauldin seems an okay grappler but too slow to deal with the onslaught that Dakota provides.

- Carmouche vs. Velasquez III
- Liz Carmouche | Decision

- Goltsov vs. Vassell
- Denis Goltsov | KO/TKO | Round 3 | PFL 1
-
Tough first round for Goltsov, stuck on bottom a bit but bumped at the right times in mount. Got sweep early in the second and much better on top, controlling Linton and slowly building damage, doing same thing in third and eventually getting stoppage.
Bit of a let down from Linton, looked good on top as he has done recently (mount not that solid though), but really struggled on the bottom and seemed to accept being in **** positions far too easily. Gas tank failed him also.
10-9 Vassell clear
10-8 Goltsov
R3 KO Goltsov

- Delija vs. Moldavsky
- Valentin Moldavsky | KO/TKO | Round 1 | PFL 1
-
Moldavsky seems to have been working on his hands, never seen him as aggressive as this with them before. Good body punches, coming forward and throwing decent combos with power on the hooks. Much better.
Delija didn't really seem to be there mentally, maybe hurt a rib or something. After initially pressing started backing up and became a sitting target.

13
- Hines vs. Smith
- Alvin Hines | Decision | LFA 181
-
Hines seems alrightish for a heavyweight. Doesn't seem to have power but does come forward constantly on the feet. Quite decent with kicks early, good leg kicks and got high kick up a couple of times. Top control not bad but doesn't really seem to have good wrestling. Defence not particularly good, got hit a lot and running out of gas towards the end. Doesn't look like a future UFC fighter or anything.
Smith backpedalling too much even when it seemed Hines couldn't hurt him, felt like he might have been able to get it done if he'd come forward more. Seems to be able to take a shot, didn't look like he really knew what he was doing on the bottom when he ended up there.

- Schultz vs. Benson
- Wes Schultz | KO/TKO | Round 1 | LFA 181
-
Pretty easy fight for Schultz, got first takedown he went for, held top easily enough, eventually got to mount and got ground and pound off for win. Looked fine but opponent was tall and that's about it.
-
15
- Verdinez vs. Witbeck
- Santos Verdinez | Decision | LFA 181
-
Verdinez looked okay, seems reasonably athletic, respectable power, did get taken down by lower level guy and ended up losing his back at one point. Able to get out because opponent kinda sucked. Ended up defending some armbars from opponents guard a little later than I felt was ideal.
Witbeck not very impressive, wrestler but shots not explosive enough to really trouble anyone solid. Plays off his back but throws up a lot of loose **** and not too much threat there, might catch out some lower level guys.

- Thomson vs. Santana
- Shaheen Santana | Decision | LFA 181
-
Santana good back taker, finding way around back and holding position standing, not really doing much damage from there. Doesn't look too comfortable on feet, got landed on a fair bit. Didn't think he won but did better than I thought he would.
Thomson good on the feet when pressuring forward and landing accurate strikes, problem in this fight was losing the back and being unable to get opponent off it, needs to work on scrambling up without giving it. Thought he won but shouldn't be having close fights with Shaheen.

- Le vs. Thang
- Quang Le | KO/TKO | Round 1 | LFA 181
-
Quang looked better than I've seen him, timing hooks really well especially check hook. Landing them cleaner and cleaner as the fight went on and putting more behind them as fight went on.
Thang okay kicks but getting countered a lot as tried to come in. Getting hit with hooks and hooks. Maybe early stoppage when dropped but did look hurt.

- Siqueira vs. Hernandez
- Igor Siqueira | KO/TKO | Round 1 | LFA 181

Eimar was kind of looking alright coming forward until he got caught by a bomb but that's MMA. Good bomb from Igor, big shot for 125.

19
- Mullins vs. Cornolle
- Nora Cornolle | KO/TKO | Round 2 | UFC Fight Night
-
Cornolle strong, harder than I remember to take down, definitely to the upper body, tough to trip. Not technical on the bottom but managed to muscle Melissa over. Good knee on the feet to set up win.
Melissa isn't technical on the feet and gets drawn into the striking a little too much at times. Too hittable, got into clinches okay but struggled to take trips. Finished by a good knee.
10-9 Mullins very close

- Budka vs. Almeida
- César Almeida | KO/TKO | Round 2 | UFC Fight Night
-
Almeida easy to take down but good get ups and managed to make Dylan gas himself out before getting some damage off in the 2nd and finishing a tiring Dylan.
Bad performance from Budka, just shooting with no damage. Double legs good but control ****, gassed himself out and didn't look at this level tbh.
10-9 Budka very close

- Matsumoto vs. Argueta
- Jean Matsumoto | Submission | Round 2 | UFC Fight Night
-
Matsumoto had to fight through adversity in this one. Argueta really tested him in the wrestling, managed to get up over and over, refused to accept position and if Argueta can't keep him down most people will struggle. Started landing more in 2nd, good leg kicks, own offensive wrestling looks like it'd work against lesser wrestlers. Good gilly for late finish. Cardio looked good fighting at a fast pace. Good performance.
Dan looked pretty impressive also, pushing a hell of a pace, just Jean managed to keep up with him, able to shoot over and over and advance position. Own sprawl looks great, won't get off people. Beats a lot of guys with this performance.
10-9 Argueta clear

- Falcão vs. Hugo
- Victor Hugo | Decision | UFC Fight Night
-
Hugo pretty good all round, striking varied and decent volume, some decent spinning stuff, had to work hard to stay on feet but managed it for the most part, looked pretty good.
Falcao bit limited but looks good at crashing into clinch and wrestling from there, couldn't maintain top control on Hugo for long enough but probably will over some people.

- Brzeski vs. Walker
- Łukasz Brzeski | Decision | UFC Fight Night
-
Brzeski TDD still sucks but did show more desire to get up and gas tank seemed a bit better. Decent enough on the feet, not great defensively but against slow opponent.
Walker just a big strong lummox. Striking slow and defence sucks, looks terrible on the back foot. Good takedowns if he can get in close enough but sometimes too slow to do so. Struggled to get damage off on the ground and keeping the guy still at this level.

- McGee vs. Morono
- Alex Morono | Decision | UFC Fight Night
-
Morono sneaky decent on feet, good pull counters. Head hunted a little bit, was a little too happy to stay on back and play subs in the 2nd against a guy who's tough to sub. Good cardio, able to keep pace well for three rounds.
Court seems to have some chin left, wasn't flattened by lighter puncher. Cardio still there, still looks good when he can get on top, hard to sub. Just not really quick enough to consistently find entries and a bit slow on feet now.
