Volkov vs. Rozenstruik

So many people were on Rozenstruik I really didn't understand. Easy to say after the fact, but I laid a large bet on Volkov when line first dropped and was second guessing it for a bit due to everyone on Bigi Boi. However, I thought Volkov was going to finish him later in fight like end of 3rd, 4th rd. Volkov isn't fast enough for the top of the division, but is better than the rest. Interesting position for him.

I think it's the Lewis fight for Volkov and Reem fight for Bigi Boi. Volkov got lazy at the end of the fight and abandoned his gameplan and a big puncher landed just one big punch, and Bigi Boi carries his power all fight long, so a life-long kickboxer landing one big clean punch isn't at all out of the realm of possibility with 4oz gloves.

they asked him about fighting Derrick Lewis again. That's the rematch I was referring too. Volkov didn't seem exited by the idea.

Why the **** would they cut Da Silva? I mean in one sense it gives me hope as a bettor if even the promotion experts are so dumb as to think he's not a UFC level talent.
It's not like he had boring fights either.

feels like it was behind the scenes don't it. Like the way he was complaining about the decision in the cage had to have spilled over to the back area? idk the way he and his team were acting leads me to believe they either said some **** that got them cut or they asked to be. really the only 2 reasons that would make sense to cut him

There was definitely some behind the scenes stuff in that one. Either that or his contract was up and they didn’t want to extend; that’s likely what I think happened. Seems weird tho considering he only lost to good fighters (except for his debut)
